Hummingbird and Lion

Lilly is a third generation energy healer,  with her gifts passed down through her grand-mother and mother. At 33 her abilities deepened- she began receiving messages from her spirit guides, who expressed a desire to "sing through her". At the time, little was known about sound healing, and the guidance she received stirred both curiosity and a deeper sense of purpose- prompting her to explore just why Spirit would want to sing through her.

For the next two years, Lilly immersed herself in understanding why Spirit would want to sing through her- uncovering the ancient power of sound as a healing modality. She asked her guides what they were doing, they simply replied, "Harmonics"

As a child, Lilly would spend hours gazing at the sky, turning clouds into stories, but it wasn't just the heavens and sunsets that held her attention- she would also sit quietly, watching the grass in her backyard, where she would watch the grass particles separate, shimmer and reform into the shape of a leaf. Later, when she learned about energy and matter in school, she instinctively thought back to those quiet moments- and the concept made perfect sense.

In class,  she also noticed the space behind her math teacher seemed to subtly shift in colour. She would later understand what she was seeing,- the teacher's aura.

Lilly's favorite subjects were always music and art. As a teenager, her natural talent for singing became clear- as did her ability to hear and isolate individual instruments within a piece of music. Her heightened sensitivity revealed itself more intensely during a music exam, where students were asked to listen to various compositions. One classical piece in particular made her suddenly feel violently ill. Though she didn't understand the lyrics written in Latin, something about the energy felt deeply unsettling. Trusting her instincts, she left the room mid-exam. Later, she discovered the lyrics carried disturbing and unpleasant meanings- a confirmation of what her intuition had already known, a validation of the energetic sensitivity she had always carried. 

Her intuition, serving as a compass, aligning her with the deeper wisdom of energy, sound and healing remains present now as it was then.

These days Lilly enjoys listening to everything from a phennominal solo drummer or guitarist, from The Old Masters to Funk and Soul,  World music to Fibonacci Hertz, and finds joy in singing jazz and blues- purely for the love of it.  Outside holding space for sound and energy healing, music remains her personal sanctuary. 

It's a place she returns to often- where sound speaks and the heart listens.

Certain tones and harmonies still send a frisson through her- those sudden waves of goosebumps that remind her sound is more than vibration; it's a form of soul communication.
